ABOUT MILL BARN
Located just a minute's walk from the beach with comfortable accommodation and the flow of the mill race running through the garden, makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
It's a special place and family home that we love and hope that you will too.
Step onto a small foot bridge over the stream and along the side of the house to the front door, located at the back of the house. The entrance hall of this upside down house leads to two bedrooms and a bathroom. A small staircase leads to an open plan kitchen and lounge area.
Weybourne is a small village with the beautifull parish church of All Saints with the adjacent Augustinian priory ruins and Saxon tower . Ali's cafe/deli is a few minutes walk from the house located at the top of Beach Lane. It's ideal for breakfast and offers a great choice of basic provisions. Immediately opposite, the Ship pub serves delicious home made food, so booking is essential !
Mill Barn is a dog friendly house that's suited to couples rather than families. It's quiet surroundings make it a perfect location to relax and unwind.
The house could be a challenge for an older person as there is no hand rail as you enter the property over the foot bridge. The house is designed with adults in mind and the footbridge, stream and balcony also makes it an unsuitable property for children.

ACCOMMODATION
Mill Barn is an upside down house with the bedrooms on the lower floor and when you visit the property you'll see that it just wouldn't work any other way. The interior is modern with vintage pieces and has a real beach vibe. The white cladded kitchen and lounge are openplan and located upstairs with access to a large balcony where you can see a glimmer of the sea on a clear day. The house has been designed very much with adults in mind.
GROUND FLOOR LIVING
The entrance hall leads to two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. There is a small gravelled area outside the front door with a small lawned garden to the side of the house and a stream that runs through the side of the garden.
The house is located on a private road and there are two car park spaces immediately opposite.
BEDROOMS
The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The larger room at the front of the house has a kingsize bed with a fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers. It has a cool coastal beach vibe that adds calm and relaxation.
The second bedroom is a cosier room with a double bed and a small stand alone wardrobe with five drawers.












FIRST FLOOR LIVING
There is a small flight of stairs which leads to the kitchen and lounge with a patio doors that lead to a blacony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric oven and hob. It's full equipped with an antique pine table and four chairs in the centre of the room.
The lounge area has a three seater sofa, a swivel armchair and easy chair with TV. There is a wood burner but it's currently out of service. In the summer breakfast can be enjoyed on the balcony with the sound of the mill race in the background.
AMENITIES
A welcome pack on arrival containing; Bread, eggs, milk and tea. A well stocked kitchen has everything you need for your self-catering break and a barbecue for those barmy summer evenings.

WEYBOURNE
The quiet, picturesque village of Weybourne is situated on the North Nofolk coast, three miles west of Sheringham and four miles from the beautiful market town of Holt. Nestled within the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers stunning virews of rolling hills, pebbled beaches and quaint countryside. Weybourne's history is marked by its strategic importance during World War II with remnants of its defensive structures still visible. The Ship pub offers food and accommodation and at the end of Beach Lane with Ali's deli /cafe just opposite the pub. The parish church of All Saints with the remains of the Augustinian priory just close by and the North Norfolk Railways which runs heritage steam and diesel trains attaracting railway enthusiasts and tourists alike.

THINGS TO DO LOCALLY
Beach day - spend a day lounging on Weybourne beach soaking up the sun. With miles of beautiful coastline, there's no shortage of places to explore.
Explore the charming Georgian market town of Holt with lots of alleyways lined with shops restaurants, and cafes.
North Norfolk Railway has vintage steam trains which run from Sheringham to Holt. A must for train enthusiasts ! Weybourne station is located just outside the village.
The north Norfolk coast is paradise for bird watching with many nature reserves. Seal watching trips can be taken from Morston or Blakeney .
There are many beautiful coastal villages and beaches along the north Norfolk coastline. Brancaster and Wells by the Sea with their beautiful sandy beaches that go on for miles and miles. Cley next the sea has rugged marsh lands (and a lovely pub and crab shack) and the pretty village of Blakeney to name but a few.
